help: mystery prefolds

They were sold to me as GMD. But I can't figure out what the heck they are. They are yellow edge, darker color with random white discoloration. Very soft and very very quilty. I ordered 1 organic from GMD to compare but its lighter in color and not quilting much at all. They are way softer and quiltier than the regular gmds that I have. Could they just be unbleached? I didn't think it could make THAT much difference. Could they be some other brand of prefolds?? I seriously love them so much I want to replace my whole stash!

Here is picture: regular GMD yellow, mystery prefold (they are exact same size, the reg looks bigger in the picture though. note the insane quiltiness), organic GMD red

I have unbleached yellow edge GMD and they are pretty quilted. Do you have any pics? I could take a look to compare. If I dig them out of the attic I could take some pics maybe!

It may just be that they varied from batch to batch. I know they've changed the browns recently as well.
Depending on size, it's possible they're Imagines (Nicki's Diapers brand).

I would say it's probably from a different year/batch.

Cotton varies year to year. If you want I bet you could email them and ask.

In my experience with gmd, unbleached are softest, bleached next, then organic.

I emailed them, but not with pictures yet. They suspected it was organic. hmm sad I may not be able to buy more of the same ones.

To me the mystery one amlost looks like someone tried to dye it an orange or yellow at some point and it didnt turn out right. Maybe it is just my monitor though. They do look very quilty and soft!
