I use Tide liquid and it rinses better/cleaner than powder...always has. You will have people on both sides of the argument.

So glad to hear good liquid reviews. I hate powder and switched from it years ago. I assumed it would work better on cloth but I'm encouraged to hear liquid working better for you mamas. I always have to dissolve the powder in hot water first.

that's what I was thinking. Considering I sometimes get chunks of undissolved (powdered) Oxiclean in my wash (I use it for my clothes

), it seems logical to me that liquid would rinse out better than powders....But I can see how water quality would play a part in that. Anyway, we're all about the liquid, so I'll probably just stick with that

In the picture it says acti-lift on it. Is that ok for you to use? I personally don't think there's anything wrong with the Tide ultra. I use the free and gentle ultra powder. I have also used the original F&G and it works the same here. It did take a few washes to get things back to normal so don't be afraid to give it a try, but give it a chance.
