Softbums Bamboo Inserts

Are these made out of bamboo fleece? And if so, is there any way, any way AT ALL, to prevent bamboo fleece from getting hard and stiff?! I HATE most bamboo diapers for this reason but love the way it feels initially...

yes these are bamboo fleece topped with obv. it just seems that when bamboo gets wet it stiffens up. im not sure if there is anything you can do about that or not...

I haven't had this issue, maybe it will come later? Do you dryer dry at all?

yes it does get stiff. The OBV top is nice and soft but the insert itself does get sort of stiff compared with microfiber. It never seemed to bother DS either.

I don't think they are stiff at all. Mine are still pretty soft. I dryer dry all my inserts though so that may help.

When I say stiff, I am just referring to when they are full of urine. When they are dry, they are soft (at least ours are ). It gets stiff (as does hemp) compared to microfiber because it does a better job of holding onto the urine, whereas microfiber, like a sponge, will release liquid with any pressure.

Mine are soft when dry. When they are wet, they do get a little stiff...but then I just change him and we're good as new. What about the stiffness bothers you?
