What size prefold would you get?

I want to order from GMD. I don't pin, I fold in thirds and put it in a cover.

My dd is 5 weeks old and 11 lbs. The size I have now is getting small, but I can't remember the size :/. I ordered from Nicki's last time.

Re: What size prefold would you get?

it's either orange or yellow. I had orange first with my son and trifolded them. yellow edged will be a bit big I think, but I used both for a long long time.

if you are trifolding I'd say you should go with the yellow edge GMD, they work for a long time trifolded from what I have heard. I'm not a trifolder so hopefully someone else can give their opinion too!

My DS is 5 1/2 weeks old and right at ten pounds. He's almost out of the orange edge. I can trifold, but the rise is getting short. The yellows are a little long, but I can fold over the back and they work just fine. I think they will last a long time too!
So I would go ahead and get yellows!

Perfect. Sounds like your right where I am with the diapers.

Is there a big difference in the organic and the regular?

Based on the age I would get yellows. Since you trifold they will last to higher weights than if you pinned.

I have the unbleached, and once they are prepped they are very soft. I've never used the organic. I didn't have the funds to go with those and I figured the unbleached were fine for us, I really like them! I wish I had another dozen, I only have two!
