Re: Sept 2012 DDs and Appointments! - Sticky Please!

YAY for all the 9/2012 mamas & babies!!

What are you taking for all day nausea that is not an RX... I am thinking ginger, b-complex, etc.?? My prenatals have them both in it, BUT apparently I need to step it up... a lot... I'm praying I don't have such severe hyperemesis again like I did w/my others... especially #2... any tips??

My 1st appt will be in March... my MW sees mamas at 10 weeks, but I won't be able to get in for 2 weeks after that... so my 1st appmnt will be at 12 weeks... no US, just a check up, etc. I am on a "diet" like the Brewer's Diest that is high protein... however, my MW insists the meat must be grass fed, organic, etc... which would be fantastic, however, it is NOT our budget... so I am eating store bought meat, backyard eggs, raw nuts (soaked), sprouts (home grown), etc.

What are you ladies eating for protein?? Also, WHAT are YELLOW veggies besides peppers, which I hate... I get squash, but what else??

Saebbe, I'm a Sept 09 mama! Is that why you look so familiar to me???

Erica, have you tried Psi Bands? Or anytype of anti-nausea bands. There's also emetrol, not sure if it's safe for pregnant women though its over the counter.

My aunt also found something somewhere that said drinking a tiny bit of regular milk every 2 hours or so is a huge help. I can't drink that much milk due to my IBS,but if you can it could be worth a shot.

Updating list now :-)

Had my first appointment today! Bloodwork done, first US showed a yolk sack and a heartbeat! Couldn't hear it, but could see it...100bpm

I have another one in 2 weeks to check growth and to narrow in on a due date (I measured for EDD 9/26 today, LMP says 9/24, FF says 9/27 or 9/30).

Just noticed the new questions!

EDD: still 9-7
Your Name: (if you would like to share) Erica
Age: 30
State or Country: Colorado
How long it took to you to get your BFP: We weren't really trying...
What number child is this for you: #5
Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): DH Greg, DD Alaina, one lost bean, DS William, DS Elijah and our Labradoodle fur baby Jasper
Baby's Gender (hopes or guesses): I'm thinking pink this time, but we shall see!
Birth Plans/Preferences: Debating whether or not to go with my regular OB and hospital or try the birth center and a midwife. My concern is how far away the birth center is and how fast my labor usually goes!
