No milk question

Hello,
I am not due for another week and a half but i wanted to know. did anyone who has had their baby leaked before their baby got here or is anyone who has not delivered yet started leaking? this is number 3 after 9 years and i just feel like i should have started making milk by now. is it my imagination that i leaked before the other two got here?

Some women have some leaking during pregnancy but not everyone. this is our fourth and Ihave never leaked during pregnancy, never had a supply issue later on or anything.

i have never leaked..this is pg #3 for me...my cousin started leaking with her #2 at like 28wks...i think it just depends on mom, genes, and whatever else is going on with our crazy bodies!!

I started leaking with all my pregnancies right around 20 weeks, this is my 4th baby and I have not started leaking, it freaked me out but the mama's assured me it is normal for it not to happen and they have not had supply issues.

I leaked around 20 weeks with both. But in my family most of the women produce milk like a jersey cow lol.

I never leak, and my milk usually takes about two days to come in after the baby is born.... then WHAM, total oversupply. Dd2 was able to keep up (kind of) with my supply, but man there was milk everywhere. I ended up block feeding to try and get the supply down.

With DD I started leaking around 23 weeks, with this baby I started leaking at 11 weeks (likely because DD had only weaned 3 months before conception, so I probably still had milk in there).
Not everyone leaks with every pregnancy though, so don't stress over it!

Oh, and yeah, I am totally DDC

ok! whew! I feel like such a dork because i feel like i should know this stuff ya know? i have worked as a nurse on post partum and actually TAUGHT breastfeeding for my hospital but i don't ever remember coming across this as a question or problem. and of course when it comes with this pregnancy my nurse brain tends to go off and my completely crazy new mom (or at least haven't done this in 9 years brain!) turns on! but thanks guys!

Ya I never leak and make tons of milk once it comes in.
