Where to buy flats?

I'd like a few flats for in my stash, and I need to get recommendations on which ones. They'll be for a newborn but will be used after newborn stage too. Thanks!

Re: Where to buy flats?

I buy mine from Nurturedfamily.com - osocozy unbleached, I believe. Great customer service- and I'm not just saying that because the owners are my friends! I was buying from them long before I personally knew them!

I have a dozen Diaper Rite flats I ordered from Diaper Junction. They've softened up really nicely. I have the smalls and they are great for pad folding in flip and Grovia covers.

Re: Where to buy flats?

GMD flats are awesome! I keep about a dozen of them and another dozen of flour sack towels! I got five of them for $5 at walmart (the flour sack towels) and I use them inside my GMD's for double absorbancy. They are not as well woven or thick as the GMD's, so they are not too bulky. Of course, I started doing this when my baby got a bit older... as a newborn, the GMD flat alone was plenty thick enough.

Re: Where to buy flats?

You're going to have way too many opinions. I think anything Imagine brand from NickisDiapers.com is super quality, and they are cheaper than every other brand. You really only NEED the smaller size, mine would still fit my sons, but I up sized them to larges to pass the small stash to sister. My small flats are as trim as our small gCloth, but hold enough for my 2 1/2 year old.
