Re: Kanoe baby hammock
I emailed Kanoe and got a response. They will have full size Kanoes available in all the colors in 2-3 weeks. Woohoo!

Re: Kanoe baby hammock
If you ladies are still interested, I'm getting rid of one of these on eBay!
Am I allowed to mention that here? ![]() It was so cool, but took up a lot of space because it needed room to swing. In the end, using a sidecarred crib and cosleeping just worked better in our tiny bedroom. Plus, I wasn't really into the euro-aesthetics of it. I tried to soften it up a bit with mosquito netting. It was really pretty that way. Garrett's actually asleep in it in this picture. ![]()

Re: Kanoe baby hammock
AWESOME
! I think I'm gonna DIY it I already have twill fabric from another project. Is there anyway you could measure dimensions and pics of how it fastens to the ceiling and adjusts from a crib to a swing seat????? Sarah Butcher Quote:

Re: Kanoe baby hammock
Well, crashing, but thought I'd chime in... Another problem with this type of baby holder would be if the babys chin is pressed up by their chest it can block airflow. That's why I've never used a "sling" type of carrier. My first two had trouble breathing when they were newbies so we were really vigilant about that sort of thing. You just want to make sure that you can put 2 fingers between their chest and chin.

They were very backordered
I ended up buying this:
Even the big kids sit in it
We like how versatile it is but I still think longingly of a Kanoe. Can't wait to see pics.
