Freezer Milk

Hi mommas!
I froze some milk in Dcecember and I wanted to use it tonight for a "daddy bottle". How should I safely thaw it out and how long in advance?

Re: Freezer Milk

I always defrost right before I need it by putting the frozen bag in very warm water. Frozen milk is only good for 24 hrs once it's been defrosted.

If I have time then I put it in a bowl of warm water but if I'm in a hurry I'll just hold it under running warm water. Be careful though... I've had a few bags have leaks and I come back to a bowl of milky water. We all know how sad it is to loose even 1 oz of breastmilk! lol
