down to once a day (sustainable?)
DD2 is 21 months. We're down to nursing once a day. Sometimes its all at once, i.e. both sides at naptime. Or sometimes its one side in the morning and the other side at naptime.
She gave up bedtime nursing last week because she asked for a cup so she could sit and read books with DD1 & DH. How long have you gone with only nursing once a day? I'm wondering if she's getting much any more or just comfort nursing. I can still express some so I know there is a bit left!

Your body will continue to supply what she's demanding. So, if that's only one (or two) nursings a day, then your body will continue to meet that demand. She probably isn't getting much in terms of volume, but she is getting tons of benefits from the amount she's getting.

Ditto PP, any amount is worth it! I think my YDS was down to twice a day by about that age and once a day by age two. He happily self weaned at 26 months.

Re: down to once a day (sustainable?)
Some kids go as far out as once week, and mom still has some supply.
