Re: how do you store your yarn?

Large plastic bins sorted based on if they are variegated or not then for what purpose: longies/shorties, tops, etc.

We don't vaccinate, we kept our sons intact, we use cloth diapers, we co-sleep, we extended RF, we breastfeed, but we watch too much tv and I totally dig plastic! Everyone has their issues, lol.

I got some shoe organizers from target and put them inside a dresser we had. All but one of the drawers holds yarn or supplies Each cubby holds about 4-5 skiens of yarn and currently each one is stuffed and then I have a massive stack on top of all my books on the left hand side.

More pics here

Re: how do you store your yarn?

I don't have pictures unfortunately but I can describe mine ^_^ I have the Sterilite 3-drawer rolling containers from Wal-mart. I had most of my yarn in the wide one but I'm having to use it to store baby's clothes now so I have stuffed all my yarn into 2 narrow ones. I have wool yarn in 2 drawers, acrylic yarn in one drawer, all my patterns and accessories in a drawer, and upcoming projects in the last drawer. It works great, The drawers are clear so I can see what's in them. I also tend to organize each drawer by colors as well, which helps me find yarns easily. With the wool especially, I usually keep solids in one drawer and colorways in the other. Many of my trims will work with multiple colorways so this works easier for me. I don't have a huge stash like the other 2 pp's but it's definitely a fair amount of yarn. Hopefully we'll have the larger room redone for our girls by mid-summer and move DH's childhood dresser from his parents house in there with ODD's chest of drawers (they're similar styles) and be able to use YDD's current chest of drawers for the baby boy and I can have my wide sterilite drawers back for yarn and sewing supplies ^_^

Re: how do you store your yarn?

I have this:

It's almost as tall as I am. The bins on the top are for finished customs (especially if it's a set and I need to store each item until the whole set is ready to be shipped), polymailers, color cards and other business type stuff. The rest is yaaaaarn.

Of course, it's all more significantly stuffed now, these pics were taken right after I set it all up.

LOL, I definitely don't pet it.
There are about 6 more boxes not shown in the pictures plus buckets on top of it.

I'm thinking about labeling the slots, but haven't decided yet.

I have a huge Rubbermaid tub that's stuffed with things like cascade and scraps. I have a plastic 3 drawer dresser thing holding all my yummy hc yarns

I try to be smarter than my iProduct, but sometimes it beats me
