When DD was little we used fleece pants occasionally. I just had several pair on hand and threw them in with her regular laundry after each diaper change. It was easy and comfy for her.

Re: Any one started of decided on their newbie stash?

I use prefolds and wool covers for that nb stage but usually try and buy a few new pieces of wool because every baby needs new woolies right? If I fall in love with something before baby comes I will pick it up but since we will stay team green I can't really go crazy.

I'll probably get some used wool, but the fleece soakers for newborns are like $4 new. You can't beat that, and I think they'll look totally cute in the summer with just a tee.

ETA: Jessie, I just peeked at your blog, and you have the most beautiful family and sweet blog! Your daughters are little cherubs!

I will make mostly everything, but I plan on getting a few other WAHM diapers to ease my sewing burden! LOL

Re: Any one started of decided on their newbie stash?

Yesterday I just started thinking about wool. I am ordering a TON of unisex yarn from the DBK co-op. I keep trying to pull myself back because I want girl specific if it's a girl. I am trying to figure out what shirts/bodysuits to order asap because I like to make custom shirts to match. I feel like I am in such a hurry because the time at the end likes to slip away from me (in the form of as many naps as I can get and all night insomnia)

I am debating on the Kawaii newborn bamboo pockets....anyone else? They are just so cheap! If you buy the dozen package they are even cheaper than any cover.
I was thinking of these as well!

For the fleece soakers I was looking them up. Should I go for the size small or size newborn if i'm using a pre fold with it?!!
