Anyone dilate starting in 2'nd trimester....

and still delivered full term? Curious as I've been experiencing some pressure and random contrax in the last week or so. Just checked myself and think I'm dilated about a cm.

I was on bedrest with my previous 2 pregnancies for lot's of contrax, but never really dilated early at all. So this is new for me.

I dilated at 23wks with my twins and made it to 34wks which is great for twins. I've never been checked prior to 28wks but it's very common for multipara moms to have funneling (1cm at the opening but still long and closed inside) or even be 1cm. How far into your 2nd trimester are you? If you're showing signs of PTL there isn't much they can do after 24wks. My OB wouldn't even do it at 23wks.

I dilated to 4cm with DS1 at around 26 weeks and was able to hold off to my scheduled c/s at 39 weeks

I went into PTL with my DD at 28 weeks. I was dilating and effacing so they put me on strict bed rest. She ended up being born 10 days after her due date.

I was already 2cm at 18-19 weeks with my daughter. Never caused a problem. I think with my son I was at 4 almost 5 at 32 weeks. He came on his due date.

Hey Momma... I am dilated a cm too. My OB wasn't worried, since I just gave birth a year ago.
