Right, I was just saying for the pp who liked the design but wanted to take out the soaker, that buying the duo diaper would make more sense than the aio. It looks very similar, but w/out the sewn in soaker. And although the inserts that come with them are mf/hemp, they would have resale value where a ripped out one wouldn't.

i can tell by looking at those that there is almost ZERO chance they'd fit my guy in the waist. but they are trim.

This is what I thought when I saw these pics. My sister loves the sized BG AIOs but her son is 29 lbs and 18 months. When you put the large BG on him it looks like the above picture (maybe a little worse) - the the velcro doesn't have much more space before you won't be able to afix it anymore. He has been "running" since like 10 months so I don't think at 18 months he is going to thin down very much. LOL

yup. my guy is 32lbs and his legs are THICK. i can GET a bg 4.0 on him, and a bg aio large but the trouble is, when i leave them on for more than a few minutes he gets HORRIBLE red marks on the backs of his thighs. i can't "loosen" the waist anymore since we've run out of aplix space (yes i just said "aplix space") so it essentially pulls the entire diaper tighter around his legs than it should be. i probably won't insist on having so much "OS" stuff for my next LO just bc i am bummed that i have an entire stash that is hanging out waiting for another babe. and in the meantime i've had to spend extra $$ trying and buying things that WILL work without red marks.

fwiw-i have been told by friends and family he'll "slim down" since he was 5months old...he's 2. he has yet to "slim down".

Yes - "aplix space" is totally the right saying. My babe is almost 22 months and 22 lbs so we have the opposite problem. LOL

OP or anyone else - can I see a BG AIO Large and a fully stretched out Thirsites DUO AIO 2 - laying down or on a babe?
