Can I Snappi Minky?
Title says it all lol. I'm making some fitteds for our newbie, and the outer fabric is minky. I'd like to do them no-closure style and snappi them..will the minky hold up?

Can you Snappi minky? Yes.
Will it hold up? No. Minky is synthetic so it doesn't have the swell/shrink recovery that natural fibers do. If you poke holes in it and stretch the fabric repeatedly, you'll end up with holey diapers.

Re: Can I Snappi Minky?
Could you sew a layer of another fabric where the snappis will touch?

Yep I could..not sure what I'd use though. I guess it's a good thing my first try failed miserably, so DD's doll has a new diaper lol.
