Good morning Ladies!!

QOTD- Do you give your kids nicknames??

AOTD- DD1 gets called Ki (short for Kianna), Ki Bri (short for her full name Kianna Brielle), Sissy, Booger pants (that one is from DH, lol)
DD2 gets called Addy, Addy Claire, Baby sissy and DH calls her Pooh bear.

AFM- Definetly think A was going through her 2 week growth spurt earlier this week. She was super fussy and not sleeping and nursing constantly. Thankfully she seems to be over it now though, she slept really well last night. I cant believe she is almost 3 weeks old already. It does NOT seem like 3 weeks ago I gave birth. I am healing really well, I am not sore at all really unless I walk alot. And my bleeding is pretty light. I feel amazing! I called yesterday and made my 6 week checkup. They couldnt get me in til 7 weeks but oh well.. 6 weeks is up the day before valentines day. . Yeah, DH wont let me forget it either. He keeps reminding me

AOTD: I do have nicknames for my kiddos. Jacob was Pooh bear, Dominic was monkey (or Domino), and Luke is Brother bear.

Well we made it through the morning. Boys got to the bus on time. Just waiting on my mom and grandmother to leave and the baby and I are going to take a great nap lol.
Then I am going to pick the boys up and take them to the park. It is supposed to be 80 today and I thought it might be nice to get out and walk and let them play before it is 50 tomorrow. crazy weather.

I need to make some flannel sheets for the baby. he hates cold sheets. I had been putting down a fleece blanket so it wouldn't be so cold but then I read some bad things about babies sleeping on fleece and since he sleeps on his tummy 90% of the time (I know I am a bad mommy) I want to be as safe as I can.

Your not a bad mommy! I have been tempted to put Addy on her tummy. She sleeps so well when I lay her on my stomach with her on her stomach but then as soon as I lay her on her back in her bed she wakes up. I think she would sleep much better during the day on her stomach. But I admit, I am afraid to do it. DD1 wouldnt sleep on her back at all, she slept on her tummy from day 1. She refused to sleep on her back. Her bassinet was right beside my head beside the bed so I heard her but I am just terrified to do it again with Addy.

Yea- babies tend to prefer their tummies. She usually sleeps on her side, even when on her back she turns to her side or tummy. When she's fussy I'll lay her on my chest, I think the pressure helps the gas move whichever way it needs to go.

AOTD- DS3 - boom boom/bum bum, ds1- bud/buddy ds2 gets mad if we call him anything other than his name dd= sister/ lil bit

Hmm, Bryson doesn't really have a nickname now, but when I was pregnant with him DH called him B-Nate (his middle name is Nathaniel). We lived in atlanta at the time, and dh said it gave him street cred, lol. I haven't come up with one for Norah yet, I usually just call her Norah-B

Afm, just adjusting to life with 2 kiddos here. DH went back to work yesterday, and I overdid it with the laundry and unpacking yesterday, so taking it easy today. Have to take Norah for a weight check later, hopefully she's gaining and we won't have to supplement.

AOTD: Miciah is Ciah(KI-uh), Kaydence is Kaydee, or sometimes I call her by her middle name - Jade, Devon is DT(Devon Thomas).

Sometimes, some babies only sleep well ON their tummies. I know they aren't "supposed" to, but ya know, how many OLD people are in the world? They lived through sleeping on their tummies, among many other "no no" rules we have now.

I love the name bryson. It was on our list of baby names for a boy when we got married but then we became friends with this family and they have a son named brycen.. . . . so we cant use it if we ever have a boy, but i love it.

Bryson was DH's grandpas name. It sounds like a modern name, but I guess it's been around a while!

AOTD some of my family call Ronan, ro ro. I have pet names like peanut or peanut butter. Larkin doesn't have any nickname either.
