yup me too. i struggle with it all the time. i have issues lol not just depression but serious issues

Even just a little bit to head it off. Caffeine is still an addiction, it's just not nearly as bad as others, so instead of cold turkey try weaning if you really want to stop.

i dont have a name for mine mostly because i refuse to go and see anyone. im pretty stubborn when it comes to it. in a nut shell i dont have the "right" reactions to things and have serious emotional shortcomings.

I'm curious what would be a "right" reaction. Like is it a difficulty reading social cues or is it more emotional? I'm not sure I know anyone who has real honest to goodness proportional responses to things.

its more of an emotional thing i think its kind of hard to explain. my husband and i have talked about it a lot and we think that im borderline sociopath and manic depressive. i have trouble with empathy and i use people. like i dont engage in relationships with people that i dont believe will benefit me in some way. also i used to self mutilate as a way of coping with the depression i have come a long way in that fight. its just a whole host of psychological and emotional problems stemming from abuse and genetics. my mom is bipolar and her grandpa had some kind of mental illness i cant remember what but he was institutionalized.

eta: i know sociopath isnt the right word anymore because they changed it but i cant remember what it is that they changed it to
