Red face
Anyone else's baby have like a red rash on their cheeks and chin? I think it's from breast milk and from him wiggling around at first before latching on. I'm gonna try some of the aqua Vaseline type stuff on his face to see if that helps. He gets his Nb pictures don't tomorrow

Sounds like a newborn rash. It's normal, mine has it too. Our ped even comented and said it will come and go no worries :-)

My girls both had that also... I think the dr told me it is caused by all the PP hormones? Could be wrong tho...
Eta: Found this... "More than 30 percent of newborns develop baby acne of the face -- mainly small red bumps. The cause appears to be the transfer of maternal hormones just prior to birth." Sent from my iPhone using DS Forum

Okay glad it's not too uncommon. He doesn't have bumps. Just looks like he has roast cheeks. Goodness he is handsome !

Re: Red face
since your bf I wasn't sure but my dd got a bad rash on her cheeks as a nb from the formula they gave her while I was in the recovery room. They ended up switching her to similac soy and it started going away and was completely gone once I got her home and started nursing her.
