I have been trying to find the best way to measure fundal height. Should I be on flat on my back or standing up?

My Mood:
Dr/mw's measure laying flat on your back. I'm not sure how far along you are but it's not accurate until after 20wks.

I'm 35 wks. The reason I asked is I have seen 2 dr's. One measured me flat in my back and the other at an angle. I think it made a difference. Just wanted to see what the norm was.
