I think if the poop is able to stay in that plastic bit, then having extra snap ins is good because you don't need to wash the cloth outer portion. Babies R Us had 2packs for $29 so with my $2 coupon, each cover came out to $13.50, only a little more than the thirsties covers I'm getting for everyday use when I'm not hiking/long distance traveling with baby. I may need to take a trip to their retail location here in town so I can take a look at their patterned covers too. Found out that whole foods will not price match BRU though. Oh well!
That clarifies it a lot. Thanks! Shame on Whole Foods for not price matching. Still love them though!!

Re: Cloth diaper craziness

DDC just always make sure the person watching the baby knows how to use them..I left my brother with about 10 prestuffed pockets ON THE CHANGE TABLE and he dug into my closet diaper pile of things I was selling and put dd to sleep in a gdiaper with NO INSERT..that was the worst rash ever, she woke up around midnight screaming, soaking wet.

We had only been gone about 3 hours but didn't think to check her diaper when we came home and she was in bed for the night.

I just got our " g baby bundle" and the tiny g's are to stinkin' cute!! The bundle from the evil Walmart is only 120.00 and you get 12 tiny g's and 6 small g's along with 80 disposable pads! I think that is a real good deal. Anyhow, they are cute and I think worth the try.

I LOOOVE the way gdiapers look, but I just did not like the way they worked. I wish the whole cloth cover had a pul lining. I don't like the plastic part that changes and such. I just like the way they put the velcro straps facing backward! It's soooo stinkin cute!

The tiny g's do. The pouch is the fabric outer too.

Add me to the list of CD crazies! I don't have any G's for these babies, but I did experiment with them with DD.

I got my newborn diapers out to see how many I had becasue I keep looking for more to buy and I don't think I really NEED anymore but if this is a girl I will be getting some girly ones. Its mostly prefolds and some fitteds and only 10 AIOs so I might want a few more AIOs
