Re: Baby Names?

Beth, I really like Dixon! That was my maiden name

For boys names we cannot agree AGAIN. We both like Zachariah but then our boys names would be Taylor, Isaac and Zack like the Hansen brothers band, you know ummbop ummbop! So we won't be using that lol.
That's so funny!!! No one their age would have any idea who Hanson is, at least.

We've got nothing so far. Just a few names that we've thrown around, but nothing too serious. Waiting to find out gender so that there is slightly less choosing.

Re: Baby Names?

We have 3 girls and have always been team green so we have had a boys name for like 7 years now. Milo Hartley. Milo because we love it and Hartley because it is my husband's grandfather's name. Each of our girls first or middle name is a family name. The girl's name that we chose when pregnant in 2010 is still my first choice but hubs isn't sure. Thankfully we have time

Re: Baby Names?

I love your name ideas! Hopefully we can sit down and talk about some tonight DH is very wary of odd names so we shall see...

Oh and side-note on the Hansens... My High School had a fund raiser called "Stop the Mm-Bop!" where they played that song really loud (and I mean REALLY loud) in the cafeteria everyday until they reached their goal. It was so loud that it was difficult to talk to the people at your own table. And the song was stuck in my head for like the rest of the day when lunch was over...ugh. Sometimes I would wake up in the morning singing it...

We have no names either! Dh just wants to wait until we know who they are, and then we can name them!

Re: Baby Names?

We hadn't discussed any names really until we found out it is a girl. We had a ton of boy names that we just always kinda talked about (expecting or not!), but girl names are always hard for us. So far we have come up with Evelyn Skye. I have never been one to name a child one thing just to call them another, but with this name we would call her Evie (pronounced EH-vee). Evelyn is my 99 year old grandmother's name and we just really like Skye.

Re: Baby Names?

We picked Brayden Joseph.

So we have a Caelyn Marie
and a Brayden Joseph

kinda rhyme-ish lol.. but oh well.. Brayden is the only name that Andrew liked as well as me
