Please help...Black mold between layers of AIO's?!?!?!!?

Somehow I got mold between the outer and inner layers of my AIO's...

Were they in the diaper pail (wet) too long?

How do I get it out? Can I?
Can she still wear them ??

Should I just throw them out. There are 3 diapers... I think they were only partially submerged in the water in the diaper pail... Were in there for 4-5 days....

Please help...

I've never heard of this before, but the best thing I can recommend is leaving them out in the sun, inside up, for quite a while! And perhaps spray some water w/ TTO on them.

i don't know anything here....but it would help the other mama's to know how long they were in the pail, and i would say unless you can get it out that NO SHE CANNOT STILL WEAR THEM mold is very toxic and can make her very sick.

I guess being in the diaper pail too long could do it... I'd lean more to them not getting dry enough before you fold them up, though. You probably can't get rid of the black but you can make them useable. Your best bet, in my opinion, is wash them in boiling hot water and use GSE or TTO in the wash. Then dry them well and let them spend some time in the sun. Good luck to you!

Bleach is the only thing that will kill the mold. I have lots of experience with this DH is a contractor and has to fix water damage stuff some times. TTO and Grapeseed extract will not work for this. Sorry. I had some diapers mold from when I had the new baby and thought I had washed them all up and put them away. So I pitched them.

Actually I have heard of that happening and its one reason I won't buy true AIO's. Its hard to get them dry enough. Toss them. Black mold is toxic.
