does anybody NOT like CJ's BUTTer?

I have read so many good reviews on it but I am just wondering if anybody doesn't like it or if it just doesn't work for anybody? I need a cd safe diaper cream for dd2. Her skin is SO sensitive that I end up putting her in disposables just to get cream on her. I'd like to order some, but I just want to know if it will definitely be worth it or if there is a chance it just won't do anything for us. I know there is no way to know until we try it, I just want to hear others experiences

I hated it at first - it only seemed to do nothing or make rashes worse. I then got a free sample of unscented from CJ (it was huge too, like 4oz) to see if that was my problem and it was. Now I love it, but know that we can't have scents. My son isn't sensitive to ANYTHING else in the world aside from scented CJ's BUTTer.

I LOVE the smell of them and we probably own 12 samples, a large stick and a small stick. But, it doesn't clear up diaper rash for us. It also made our diapers repell. I still love it for dry skin and use it, just not for diaper rash lol.

does it do a good job of preventing diaper rash? I just need something on her skin as a barrier for when she poops. It doesn't matter how fast I get it off of her skin, her poop makes her red so fast.

In my experience, most CD safe creams are better at preventing rash than actually getting rid of them (unless they are very mild). I love CJ's! I use it not only as a diaper cream, but on any dry skin.

We were allergic to the regular formula (dad has coconut allergy, so I am assuming that was the trigger). I have a sample of the vegan that I am going to try out to see if she can tolerate it. And its not CJs, but I find that Northern Essences Better Butter is fantastic at getting rid of redness. I was skeptical, but it really works well.

I found that it left greasy stains on clothing and some of the scents I could not tolerate.

I prefer earth mama angel baby bottom balm.

It doesn't do much as a barrier in my experience. It is great for general moisturizing, etc. It clears up that redness right away, but doesn't prevent it.

eta: it made my bumgenius repel like they were laminated, but hasn't had any issues with sunbabys or any natural fiber diapers we use.

etaa: it does stain your clothes so be careful.

I know some with extra sensitive skin prefer the unscented or vegan.
