What to do with holey BGE
I have 5 super holey BGEs. My boy is starting to leak through them since sometimes there isn't any cotton because the hole where the soaker is attached is so big.
does anyone have any idea what to do with these? Cut out the soakers for use in other ones? Can they be fixed? Ideas?? Thanks!

Re: What to do with holey BGE
I'd offer them FFS: some mama in need may be happy to take it off your hands.
You can can cut out the soakers but the edges will fray. YOu would need to serge to zig-zag the edge. If you do not have a sewing maching. I can serge finish the edge if you decide to keep them. No charge. I'd ask you to pay shipping though and cut to the shape you want. I hate cutting. |

Re: What to do with holey BGE
Are they under warranty? I had a Ribbit BGE get a HUGE hole and they replaced it with a receipt.

I've read this too many times about these to even try them. Maybe they are under warranty? Maybe buy five of the exact same ones and send the holes back in a month?

Re: What to do with holey BGE
Thanks for the thoughts. They aren't under warranty - they were purchased used and I've used them for at least 4-6 months, so they've had a good life so far.
I do think that the holes are the downside of the BGE, but I HATE stuffing, and I like the cotton part. Thanks, especially, Olstep, for the offer to fix them. My neighbor has a sewing machine, so I can ask her... or I may just do ffs.

I would hand stitch them closed. Or look into cottonbabies 'growing up in cloth'...they take diapers like this back ( may buy them back but I dunno about really bad ones) Then they pass them along again to mamas like me who watch for their used sales. I have about 8 of them that look like that that I bought from cottonbabies 'last chance' sale. I like having them for around the house, but they stay home because they do tend to leak more.

I really hope that you wouldn't do this. That is so dishonest!I would think that you could use them like a cover if you cut out the cotton inner.
