Beginner questions
Just received my first 5 bunch and have some things to get clarification on.
-3 of them are brand new so what do I do to prep them? I've read anywhere from 1-7 times washing them so dont know what's accurate. - do I wash the diapers in hot or cold water? I've been told both. -do I wash them with the liners in or out? - what do I do with the longer, snap in insert. Im not understanding where they snap into? And why do they go longer or shorter? And then does the smaller liner that came with them go on his butt? - the used ones came with pretty small, thin liners in them so what kind of stuff do I have to buy for them now? I just assumed would come with the ones it was supposed to use...but obv I need to clarify that from now on. thanks |

Do you know the name of the diapers you bought?

Re: Beginner questions
Diapers are very different - AIOs versus covers and pockets - and the brands make it all different too. What brands of CDs did you get? Those two things make all the difference in how to care for them =)

Re: Beginner questions
Oh yep sorry. The 3 new are BG pockets and 2 used are BG AIO's.

Re: Beginner questions
Bump
Got most questions answered but need to know if I should wash hot or cold water and what kind of inserts fit in BG? Also- the AIO has a pocket. Do I need anything in there? And then is it considered an AIO pocket? |

Re: Beginner questions
Are the BG AIOs the ones with the microfiber insert sewn into it?

Re: Beginner questions
From what I've heard, rinse in cold and then wash in hot.

Re: Beginner questions
Yep. Remove the inserts first.

Re: Beginner questions
The 3 new you can just wash once on warm or hot, but the 2 used I'd wash on hot with a bit of bleach to disinfect then rinse a couple times to make sure it's all out. On a regular basis, make sure all the inserts are out first, then do a cold prewash or rinse, then a hot wash with detergent, and last an extra rinse. Good luck!
