Wet Bag without PUL?
Have you ever seen or heard of a wet bag made with some other waterproof material besides PUL? I have some bags I purchase back in 09 that work fine (there are not my strongest stay-dry bags but they do okay) but the material almost feels more like nylon than the PUL on my other bags.
I purchased them on eBay and I figured out who I bought them from, still selling wet bags (though they look much better these days). I sent out a question to her, but not sure if she will remember or even answer. It was a while ago. So I thought I would ask here too. My new daycare showed me the NH law on cloth diapers, each diaper has to be individually wrapped in a plastic bag, ug, I want to make a "pull" (pun intended) that my wet bags would count as plastic bags. But 3 out of the 5 that I could send in have this different material. Not as good for my case. Since I have a toddler he only would have 4 or 5 changes a day anyway so we could get away with not using plastic shopping bags. Thanks!

Monkeyfoot Designs is made of something called Pro Care. It feels thicker than PUL to me. Although I'm not sure why you can't use PUL?

Re: Wet Bag without PUL?
This isn't thicker. I wouldn't depend on it to hold a really wet bathing suit or a diaper i had to dunk but it holds a diaper with a pee in it with no issue. It feels like a thin nylon, instead of plastic-y.
Thanks for the suggestion but I am going to have a hard enough time pitching this. I don't think wool will work. She is open to whatever - but is concerned of being shut down if the state visits.

Re: Wet Bag without PUL?
The ebayer contacted me and apologize greatly. The wet bags I have are made with rip stop nylon. She says its before she knew better and offered me a discount on new ones. Now I know!
thanks
