I just snappi'd my first flat

And I'm so excited! I woke up my husband to show him and he just gave me a sleepy smile.

But it's amazing--no shelf butt, no banana crotch, it's like she only has one bum again! And now I can't wait till it's time to change her

Until now I'd only padfolded swaddlebees flats, but I bought a bunch of gmd ub flats with snappis and pins from fsot and they're amazing!

I'll try to get one when I change her next. I kinda made up the fold as I went along, but after looking the flat folding thread I'm thinking of trying the Rosie posie fold. Let's see if I can rmr it!

Softbums have been known to have banana crotch with the narrow insert folded over.

Reb-you totally should! I LOVE them! I've now collected 3 dozen They are so trim it's not even funny. It's especially trim on my chunky girl and I'm sure it will too on yours since ours are about the same size! I just fold mine in half than again ina quarter I guess you would say? So it's the same size as a prefold than just newspaper fold. So simple and I love it. I don't do all those tedious looking orgami folds and stuff. Blah.. I especially love the fact that unlike prefolds where everything can barely snappi since her wiast is so big the tabs I get from flats are so long and therefore so much more comfy on her.

I agree after having since trimmness with prefolds and flats I just can't ever go back to puff butt from BG's and fitteds and bananna crotchs from like every other pocket out there. I feel so spoiled

Everybody should just "try" flats...ha....its so fun to fold `em up and have a super duper do it yourself from scratch really fun type of diapering. No way could I use them full time, though, they're more of a "let's do flats for a few changes" thing for me.
