My Son is writing a book!!!

He's only 5.5 years old. Last night he proclaimed that he was going to use his new notebook to write the next Magic Tree House adventure. When I got out of the shower this morning, there he was, laying on the floor with a pencil in hand sounding out "Shipwreck".

I can't wait to see where this will take him, so far he has two pages and an illustration! I am So, So, So proud of him!!!

That's amazing! Make sure you hold onto all of those things he writes.

I loved writing stories and books as a kid. I went to college for writing. I have an uncompleted novel on my computer (and in my brain!) that I hope to finish some day. My favorite classes in school were always English, and I loved our Young Authors and Writer's Workshop sessions in elementary school.

That's great that he's starting so early and is already so creative. I hope it takes him to great places.

Jack and Annie ran to the tree house like they always do.

Jack said, "I don't want to do this" because they saw 1 2 3 4 5 6 bad guys!

My DD was just telling me last night, that when she grows up she's going to have a boy and a girl, and name them Jack and Annie.
