Diaper Swappers

Should we start a weekly chat thread. We all seem so busy with our lo's that it seems that might work a lil better now. What does everyone think? I know I have not been able to get on as often anymore. When I DO get a moment of quiet I want to rest or catch up on cleaning. I haven't even been able to get the pics of the baby loaded onto the comp. Every time I start one of the kids needs something.

Happy Thursday everyone! I am so excited for DH to be home for the weekend! Yay!

I am definitely looking forward to the weekend too.... this transition is tough! The newborn thing I can handle right now, but the combo of having that with my daughter is a big challenge, and I could use a nap!

yep i think a weekly thread is great!

We had our follow up today with my mw S turns 3 weeks tomorrow YIKES!.
He was born 7.4 dropped to 7 and is now 8.2

he a boob baby for SURE! He growing fast.

We have been doing skin to skin today. For about a week now after let down and a couple of minutes Luke starts screaming and popping on and off the breast. It is super frustrating and I don't know if it is because there just isn't enough milk or if it just isn't coming fast enough for him. He is gaining weight And having poopy and wet diapers but he just still seems so hungry. So we have been naked from the waist up all afternoon. Seems to be doing some good as far as him not screaming his head off.

Gotta leave here in an hour to go get the boys for swim.

Tomorrow we are going to see my mom. They live 2 hrs away. I am only taking Luke and Dominic, Jacob is staying here. My mom had 3 1/2 liters of fluid taken off of her abdomen again yesterday. She is just so depressed and seeing the baby will cheer her up. Wish me luck on the drive!

yeah, i have a hard time keeping up lately.

Eden is 2 weeks old today! wow, she's loosing a little of that new baby smell

so I guess she's really getting used to this outside world now. she's so snuggly, I love it. ds was not as snuggly nor as good of a sleeper.

ds is still having quite a hard time. . .really hard transition this is! I wish I knew how to help him better.

I think weekly is great, I will have an easier time keeping up with that.

Sounds good to me.

My doctor appointment was so long. I waited 40 minutes before he came to my room. He did put me on antibiotics for my incision and took a culture to make sure it wasn't infected. I go back next Monday to fallow up on it.

Play date at the park was fun. We are gonna do it every Thursday. Ds stayed home w dh so it was nice till I got the come home now texts to fed ds. It was nice to just be dd and I
