dd is allergic to coconut. So it would have to be veggie or olive oil. Could just use a dairy free margarine, I just try to avoid it if possible.

Good stuff. When you roll it out, you COULD if you were so inclined, add some cinnamon and sugar and raisins. It makes a yummy cinnamon raisin bread that my mom loves. She helps me out every Monday and drives my daughter to school so I can volunteer at another daughter's school so I bring her some warm homemade bread or a batch of crackers or granola bars as payment for her time and for getting up in the morning since she's retired. This is her favorite bread recipe and she's a tough customer.
You put me to shame!! I'm gonna try your crackers, too!
Do you use a bread machine?

And share the recipes that turn out!

DS phone app math: NAK-ing + a small touchscreen keyboard + autocorrect + poor proofreading = potential for incoherence. My apologies.

I really like these whole wheat goldfish crackers, and my kids gobble them up.

No, I don't have a bread machine. But the recipe I posted turns out really nicely with minimal kneading and a loaf pan, I swear. I think it's the rolling out/rolling up that makes it so nice.

Oh crap. Sorry. Yeah, omit the vanilla. Though I don't know why the original recipe author would use paprika and vanilla either. Seems kinda but I'll give her the benefit of the doubt since I never made it her way.
