Why do people keep their kids bundled up indoors?

Thats crazy we haven't even used the coats this year to hot for them. The kids hate them we do a fleece jacket,and an undershirt, long sleeve shirt. along with a hat when they get too hot they just start taking of the layers. Easier than having them in a coat either too hot or too cold. My Dd is normally cold indoors, and ds is normally hot, so Me and Ds wont be wearing a jacket int he store but dd will because she chooses to shes almost 4.

We always have extra clothes and coats in the car somehow.
I've seen some young kids totally fitted out with jacket, boots, pants...and I look at them and start sweating!

It can be snowing and my DD will wear flip flops. She has hot feet issues!

Around here, it just seems to be "cute" to have the whole matching outfit going on.
