SoftBums Elastic Measurements (working on a formula)

Okay, SoftBums users, I think I've devised a formula for setting the SoftBums elastic.

If you LOVE your fit, let me know if this formula matches your current setting. (If not, please tell me what your thigh circumferences is and what your elastic setting is.)

If you DON'T love your fit, try out this formula and let me know if it's any better.

Quote:
Step 1. Measure baby's thigh circumference (in inches).

Step 2. Calculate this equation:
thigh circumference (in inches)
2
+ 1 inches
= elastic setting

Step 3. Lay the diaper flat and measure the distance from the beginning of the elastic (where it's sewn down) to the toggle position. Adjust the elastic on each leg until this measurement equals the # you got in Step 2.
Quote:
Example:

8" thigh
2
= 4"

4"
+ 1"
= 5"

Measured ours and this exactly what we already had it set too! We've been leak free since I adjusted to this setting about 5 weeks ago!

Just checked mine and they were spot with the measurements and formula. We never get leaks, except with some really bad ebf poop. For some reason I do get leaks with my omni kitty shell - not sure what the problem is...
