A different kind of fostercare

This is quickly becoming a nonprofit that is near and dear to my heart. This organization matches a deploying servicemember's pet with volunteers who board the animal til the servicemember returns. They keep the pet out of the shelter and ease the servicemember's mind that his furry family is taken care of while hes away. Anyway I just wanted to share this group with you in the hopes that someone might be interested in supporting the troops in this way.

Re: A different kind of fostercare

About seven years ago I found a similar site and signed up, but was never contacted about fostering. It's a great idea. It's so sad to think that animals are taken to the pound b/c of deployment (or just turned loose :/).
