Supportive Nursing bras (sports bra & regular)

I need some rec's on bras ladies!!! We dont have any good nursing wear stores here to get fitted.
I need a good bra WITHOUT underwire for just regular wear and also a good supportive one for exercising.
I'm fairly large on top-, I havent been fitted but I *think* I'm a 36/38 D.
Any recommendations ladies? I would rather not spend a ton of money on them but yet I know the cheaper ones dont last long at all. I went through a ton of walmart nursing bras when nursing DD1.

Re: Supportive Nursing bras (sports bra & regular)

There are several online retailers that talk about how to properly size, have great nursing bras and good return policies. I personally like "breakout bras."

As for sports bras, I don't bother with "nursing" sports bras. Chances are, I'm going to put on my sports bra to exercise, get all sweaty, take it off to shower and then return to my baby. Even when exercising at home, I will often just put my sports bra on over my nursing bra. If my baby interrupts my exercise routine, I just take off my sports bra.

I know they are pricey but well worth the money!! Bravado bras are the best!! I have one black sublime and one nude sublime and one black original. My DD is two now and they still look and feel great!!! Plus I use them every day!! I'm pretty busty (38 E) and still these are supportive and comfortable!! These are truly the best bras out there!!

I'm also 36 D and target underwire nursing bras are the best and for sports bras Moving Comfort Fiona. Not technically a nursing bra, but has adjustable straps you can undo for nursing easily!

Elle McPhereson nursing bras are fantastic for a nursing bra that is more like a regular bra, they are definitely my go-to. For sleeping/lounging, I like bravado bras and tanks.

Re: Supportive Nursing bras (sports bra & regular)

I just got a bravado body silk from a local shop and love it (not nursing yet, though). The owner said this is one of the two she recommends for pregnancy to nursing b/c the band is supporting but stretchy. It was $50, but you can get from amazon for a little less.

I liked the sports nursing bras from motherhood with DD. I don't remember exercising in them, but I wore them all the time, even out of the house. They have pretty substantial fabric and don't make too much of a uniboob. They just come in SML sizing without back adjustment, so you may need a large and get the band taken up some. I think they sometimes are on sale, regular price is $22. (now the sale is buy 3 get 4th free)

That is the one I love. I have 2 of them and they are by far my favorites of any that I've ever tried.
