Anyone have gender feelings/preminitions?

I'm sure I sound crazy but I knew my first was a boy. I just knew. It's early but any one have feelings? I'd love to spend some time having fun with our pregnancies and distract us from the 1st trimester fears!

My 2nd baby I had no idea (she was a girl). This one I don't have any feelings either but I'm really hoping for a boy! Of course, I'd be happy/love the baby either way, but I'm just being honest!

Re: Anyone have gender feelings/preminitions?

Right after I POAS, I felt boy. Maybe that's just because I already have 2 girls, so this one has to be a boy, right? Haha, riiiiight. Looking at my name book (yes, I've already been thinking about names), I was more attracted to girl names (but, again, maybe that's just force of habit).

Regardless, I'll be happy either way. I kept saying before getting pregnant that I'd like to not find out the gender until delivery because that would be pretty neat, but I doubt I'll be able to go through with it. I am too impatient! Besides, I'll be watching the u/s like a hawk at 20 weeks, and I've seen enough of them to know pretty well if it's a boy or a girl. I knew DD2 was a girl before the tech said anything.

Re: Anyone have gender feelings/preminitions?

I never have feelings about gender. With DS1 I wanted a girl so bad, I didn't even entertain the thought that it could be a boy. With DS2 I really, really, really wanted a girl SUPER bad, but the closer I got to the big u/s the more I figured it would be another boy (just because I'm a pessimist and figured I wouldn't get what I want). This time I obviously want a girl more than ever, especially since this will be our last baby. I find my self referring to it as a he and she to myself at different times, so obviously I have no idea.

I've always had a feeling that we would have a girl first. However, I was praying for the baby a week ago and I had this peace about the baby, and then all of the sudden I felt it was a boy. So I'm thinking maybe boy!

Arrrgh this is hard! With the boys I knew as soon as I POAS. This time... I'm not as confident. I still think boy but I don't know if I think that because that's all I'm used to, KWIM? I don't have that strong intuition yet - I think I'm still a little in shock.

I would be totally happy with another boy. I'd love a girl, too, so whatever we get we will be over the moon with! We just cannot decide on a girl's name. Ugh.

I'm thinking boy but maybe that's because I desperately want one!

We already have names picked out for either...which is funny because we barely had a name picked out for dd by the time she was born! I'm not sure...I sometimes think boy, but I'm so used to having a girl that I can't really imagine what it would be like to have a boy instead. With dd I thought for the whole first half of the pregnancy it was a boy and I was wrong, so I don't trust myself

Re: Anyone have gender feelings/preminitions?

So glad you posted about this!

First of all, like others have said, I want a healthy baby. However, I would love to have a boy.

I always saw me having a little red-headed girl (my mom and I are red-heads, well, strawberry blond to be exact) and I had a hunch that was what I was going to get w/ my first pregnancy and that is exactly what I got.

Ever since we've started thinking about TTC, I keep thinking it's going to be a boy. But, my mom was positive that I was a boy and, I'm not , so who knows. On one hand I want a boy b/c DH wants a boy and I would like to have one of each at least, but on the other hand, the thought of two little girls is so awesome. And it would be nice not to have to search high and low for clothes that are more than tools, trucks, sports or grey, navy, red and forest green stripes. I mean really.

Bottom line: I'd be willing to place a small wager that I'm having a boy.

Wow... three people already have hunches? It will be fun to see if they, or any of us w/ hunches, are right.
