Re: Impending labor?
My ob says mucus plug could go either way. Bloody show w/ctx would be a good indication of labor starting soon.

Re: Impending labor?
Could be anytime,
Hope they contractions start and stay steady for you soon. My last baby was an induction and I like going into labor myself, much faster

Re: Impending labor?
It's such an individual process that there's really no telling. I've known several women who have had all those signs and still taken weeks to go into labor. I didn't have any prelabor checks or contractions myself. I'm sure it's hard to wait with all of that going on, though.

Re: Impending labor?
I have walked around 5 centimeters for well over a week before
It could be a while.

Re: Impending labor?
not to bum you out, but I was 2 cm for over 2 weeks (midwife didn't tell me how effaced, but she did say "nice and ripe!"). I also had pretty regular braxton hicks and contractions in my back almost every night. The only night I didn't have braxton hicks or back pain? That was the night I went into labor!

I had 1 minute contractions every 2 minutes for 6 weeks before I went into active labor. Literally 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for 6 weeks. I went in after the first 24 hours and I was 1 cm. 24 hours later I was 2 cm. A week later 3 cm. Lol! It was slow and exhausting.
