I wasn't considering homebirth...

But right now I'm sitting in the huge tub in our new rental and thinking it might not be such a bad idea after all.

DH would still kill me, but even he admitted if I were going to have a baby at home, our bathroom is suited for it.

hehe- the tub is awesome, isn't it? I feel really drawn to laboring and birthing in water. The other night I had a seriously upset stomach and I ran a bath at 12 midnight and it felt just like the night I was in labor with my daughter; it was so relaxing and helped a lot. I can't wait to labor at home in that tub again. And this time it is a much bigger tub

LOL! Our tub at our apartment is TINY but when I was in labor with DS1 I labored in the tub at the hospital for a LONG time... from the time they broke my water at about 4.5/5cm to 8cm!

It was amazing!

Well, I'm still planning on going to the hospital, but laboring at home in that tub is going to be nice.

Jealous of your big tub! We have a shower/tub and I'm 6ft so I barely get the water over my bellybutton and it's not relaxing. My #1 thing I'm looking for in the new place we move to is a graden tub, seperate shower. Also helps having the seperate shower so I don't have to lift 35lb dd in/out of the tub.
