[One Little Window]

QOTD: Lately I put Adele on really loud in the kitchen and dance with DS - he likes it when I dip him, or when I twirl. I've been pretty stressed and it just helps to dance really badly and be silly.

Usually it's a cup of decaf earl grey and some kinda chocolate (white choco lately... )


I thought I was getting a really bad flu last night. DD slept better last night and I guess I was just REALLY tired, 'cause I'm all cured!

I just made my kids a treat: smoothie made with strawberries, blueberries, chia seed and dark chocolate almond milk..talk about YUM!

AOTD: Go hide in another room

AFM: My printer isn't working, argh!!! I wanted to print out some crafty stuff to do today and I don't have the patience to mess with it. So instead we are going to THIS, make bingo cards and I was thinking of gluing a picture onto cardboard and cutting it up into squares to make a puzzle. Will have to see how it goes. I need to do my school stuff too.

Aotd: If it's naptime...get on the computer. If not, deep breathe and count to 10. I have had a hard time with shouting/yelling the last few weeks and it's gotten to be a habit - I always said I would never be a mom who yells all the time. So far the counting is almost curing me . Amazing how much harder it is to unlearn a habit than to learn it though.

I SO want pizza....still afraid to jump completely into dairy...but I've had a little butter, and things made with dairy. Eat an extra piece of pizza for me...I'm really wanting cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese!!!!

AOTD: I generally get on the computer for a few minutes, answer e-mail, edit pictures or something. Sometimes in the afternoon I take a minute alone to walk to the mail box. If it is nap time, I'm trying to take advantage of that time and sew.

AFM: We went up the Seattle Aquarium this morning. We had a great time there, then we went to Pike Place Market and wandered for a bit. DH insisted that I buy some shrimp from the fish monger, so I did. Don't have to tell me twice! I also found a pair of bootie/shoes for Etienne which are entirely cute. I'll have to take a picture.
