It took us eight months to get our refund. I doubt your note will put you in an audit if you weren't already going to be, so no need to beat yourself up. Like everyone has already said, most of us got reviewed anyway. One of my friends got her refund right away, then later got audited. Last year it seemed like the IRS was sort of floundering around, maybe this year they have it figured out.
