Well I had to start an elimination diet for lo's reflux. The good news is that it's working for lo and me. He's sleeping great and crying less and I'm back down to 167. So:
Pregnant: 197
Now: 167
Goal: 150 ( 30 down, 17# to go)
Everyone is doing so well! Congrats!

How do you do the elimination diet? Any good links for sites that explain it? LO has been having super bad reflux problems as well and I'm trying to cut out dairy, soy, eggs, and caffeine. It's been difficult though because I'm a vegetarian so that's everything I eat for protein! and I can't function without coffee. So it's been a struggle. I would rather pinpoint the problem.



As for my check in: I'm at 157-158 now. I ordered a post-natal tummy toning dvd so hopefully gonna be getting my abs back into shape here soon

I used the diet recommended on askdrsears.com. Basically your just eat turkey or lamb, yellow and green squash, pears, rice, millet and potatoes for a few days then start adding in other fruits and grains. I'm not sure how to do it as a vegetarian because i think beans can be a problem for some babies as well as soy. I think salmon is okay if your willing to eat fish. I would look at the site and try to tailor it to your diet. They give a few lists that organize foods by how likely they are to cause problems for baby. I saw a huge difference within 24 hours so I hope you do too!

ANyway 165 this morning so that's 32 down 15 to go.
I also may have found the cause of lo's tummy trouble: WHEAT!

Hi I'm new. My daughter was born on 2/17/12

Pre-pregnancy: 166
End of pregnancy: 205 (39lbs weight gain)
After pregnancy: 186
First goal: 155
Second goal: 145
Final goal: 140

I am currently 161.2lbs

I started doing weight watchers this week and am having great results. The weight loss doesn't seem to be messing with my supply so I'm going to keep it up.
