We love Grandma El's. When my LO had a bad rash when he was a few weeks old letting him nap on his tummy with his bum open to air really helped. I think the Grandma El's is more of a barrier cream to prevent further rashes but will not heal one already there per se. And it smells so good!

They also make a huge tub of it. http://www.abbyslane.com/CJs-12-ounc...Tub_p_272.html But even the 4oz tub lasts a long time. We've only bought it once and DD is almost 2.

Yep.

And a little goes a long way. Even those tiny sample jars last longer than you'd think.

Re: Cd safe diaper creams

I had problems with Burt's Bees and Aveeno on my suedecloth pockets. I haven't had any problems with California Baby on my BG 4.0's.

Re: Cd safe diaper creams

honestly Ive been pretty much able to use anything.. Assuming I'm not using a ton, if I have to cake things on I eaither do a reccomended CD safe or use a flushable liner..
My favorite CD safe is LuSa botty cream.
