They work pretty well for toddlers. My 23 month old dd isn't a very heavy wetter but bges are our go to diapers for outings when I may not be able to change as often as I do at home. I rarely ever have a leak with them. I'm not caring for how they look when they're on - something funny about the way they look set on the outer waist snaps - but they fit and function fine.

I use them on DD and have been using them on her for over a year. We rarely have leaks. They are our "go to" diaper when we are out and about because they are so absorbant. The more you wash them, the better you'll do!

Yes agreed!!

I'm always amazed when we got out for a while and I change a diaper. The thing weighs a ton (without leaks). A couple times I've said to DH - "feel this . . . feel how heavy this is". He is like, "no thanks".

Re: bge in demand!

Oh gosh! I'm obsessed with these! I think 3 or 4 of mine are seconds and two are from FSOT. The rest I bought new but they're worth it. They are SO trim, absorbent and it's an added plus that they're organic cotton. I just ordered Lovelace from Abbyslane (in stock!!) and just received Free Spirit. I don't love them for newbies (I find them too bulky) but around 5 months they become my favorite dipe in our stash.

Hmmm.... I have an Artist Series BGE (the red one), that just sits in a drawer and never used... I should sell it, but I'm just "hoping" I'll find the BGE love someday.

In refrence to both of these, we love our BGEs but our new lovelace and albert both leak from the front seam when my 15 month old toddler wears them, unless I change him right away... so we cant wear those prints out of the house... or for naps...

Bummer! When L got up this morning he was soaked on the one side from the bg tag wicking. He was in an artist pocket though.
