My son had a similar reaction the first time he used a disposable plate at a friends birthday party. He just thought it was strange to throw it away

What?! I might agree that co-sleeping and cloth diapers aren't the norm, but nowadays breastfeeding is at least as normal as giving bottles!

I hate that she referred to all those things as normal. It makes other ways sound like crazy options. Grrr! Ignorant people! Love that your son was willing to voice his opinion.

I think the point a PP made about "normal" versus "common" is a good one - I'm going to start using that to explain things to my boys!

Awww, that's sweet! That's what's "normal" for him. I don't think my kids even know what a sposie looks like, lol. I just asked my 2yo what do babies eat and she said, "boobies!" DS does get expressed milk while I'm at work though.
