prefolds?
I'm thinking about using hemp prefolds. We use cotton
prefolds now and am really looking for something with better absorbency. Is there a downside to using hemp prefolds? Also can I still use my snappy with hemp?

You can use a snappi with some hemp prefolds, but not all. Of the two I have tried, thirsties yes (i did get a hole on one of my 24) and babykicks no. I love my thirsties. They are like soft tshirts, trim and absorbent. They wash well and took a little less time to dry than my cotton prefolds. Downside for me was that they only came in two sizes and my ds outgrew them snappied at 18 months (wide hips). I never gave babykicks afair try because I dont trifold.

Re: prefolds?
Flip Organic cottons are amazingly absorbent! They are our afternoon nap diaper and could work for my not so heavy wetter as a night time diaper (she currently uses a BG 3.0 with a Gerber prefold at night).
