I have not been on DS since having my boy, or at least not much. I was just thinking of you ladies today. I had to find you and see how things were doing. I had my 3rd, a boy, on 12/9/12. We named him Alexander Kenneth. He is now 7 months old and so close to crawling. I must say that I am not enjoying nursing this kid. He is like an octopus, arms and legs flailing everywhere. I didnt getvtobread everything, but I will go back and read it all just to see how everyone is doing. Miss you ladies!

Congrats on the little guy.

And my DS was an octopus. Didn't bother me, I thought it was hilarious...although awkward in social settings, haha.

What drove me nuts was that after he got his first teeth at 7 months, he became a BITER for a few months. OMG--talk about irritating and PAINFUL! Not looking forward to that stage ever again.

Good to "see" you again Katie. Congrats on your little guy! My girl is a bit of a restless nurser too, never has been a comfort nurser like my son, just all business, but easily distracted from the business of eating. sigh. and yeah, not so easy to nurse her in public. . .or not so easy to stay anywhere near modest--she keeps popping off and looking around leaving me hanging out there or sometimes spraying milk everywhere. hehe. I've found that she nurses a lot better laying down in bed with things relatively quiet, which is hard with a 2.5yo running around! But we try to find some quiet moments.
Pretty sure she's about to cut her first teeth. yowsa, teething stinks and I'm not sure I'm ready for teeth! never had any issues with ds biting my while BFing. . .but I suspect I might this time.

I started out at 171.
Today, I weigh 144!!!

19-24lbs until my goal. When it was 50lbs, it seemed completely impossible. But now, 27lbs from my original weight, I see the light at the end of the tunnel. I would love to be 120-125 again (what I weighed when I went to college). And I'm going to get there! My first goal is to get to 135 by the time my DH gets back from deployment (9lbs in 1-2.5 months or so, so totally possible). Then lose the last 10 by letting my sexy, muscular, ridiculously hot Marine husband work out with me (P90X, HERE I COME!)---His body fat is like 7% or less and he's RIPPED, so its going to be AMAZING to not feel like a tub of lard when we're naked together!

When I broke through the 150 barrier, I CRIED.
Today, when I saw 144 on the scale, I did again.

If I do this EVERY time I cross a 5lb goal, my DH is going to make fun of me---ya know, right after he finishes drooling and humping my leg

Trying to figure out how to add the pics from my phone...

Thanks!

I Figure getting fit and trim can't hurt my chances of having a healthy pregnancy, so I might as well go for it! Not like I can TTC right now anyway

Although, I won't mind trading in some of my cardio time for a different kind of workout when DH gets home

On CD 2. DH I'll be home before I start the next cycle.

Luckily, it will be after O, so I don't have to stress about TTC and miscarriages yet

Re: Pregnant after TTC while Breastfeeding! *April-May*

Thanks Lucy.

Its SO soon. I have barely enough time to drive to Cali, get basic furniture out of storage, stock the fridge, and get my hair done and a pedi before he gets back. Its seriously so close I can taste it.

People who have hubbies who disappear for a week can quit their complaining, haha. Its longer than that til he's home and it feels like a blink of an eye!

And I'm hoping for a daytime homecoming so that Smidget can get all worked up and absolutely burn out in the evening so that I can have a couple of hours alone with Daddy (hell, after 7 months, 20 minutes would be plenty ).
