Re: Honest name opinion

Cute! I would like to use the name (if we are blessed with another girl) Louisa and call her Lula (like Tula but with an L!) for short. It's actually a very old nick name for Louisa but I never hear it.

Re: Honest name opinion

I see nothing wrong with Tula or even Tallulah. But I love old fashioned names, my DD is named Adah and if this one were another girl she'd be Eleanore, but he's a Marcus

And just a quick fyi, the Greek Toula is used as a nickname for girls or added on to a girl's name, and it means "little." Growing up I got the nickname "Z" and throughout my Greek classes (in college) I was called "Zetoula" (or "Little Zeta")

I like it, there is an Irish Lullaby that has this name in it.

What if you did a more feminine spin on it...like Tulia or Tuleah or Tulanna

. Love a girl with good name taste. I love navid and aldous for a boy. But also classics like chauncey, henry and harold.

Re: Honest name opinion

Not a big fan. Sounds kind of cute, but looks like TUBA, which makes me think of huge, slow, and dolt-ish.

As an alternative, Tallulah is a southern name that's been around a while, and I like it a lot. Lulu is cute, although more nickname-sounding.

Re: Honest name opinion

It sounds more like a nick name than a full name to me, so I would try to extend into something else. Not my personal preference, but perhaps Tallulah such as others have suggested or play with Tula, adding letters and messing with it until you come up with something euphonious. Good luck!

I love both your Natalie and Norah contenders!!! I don't think Tula is bad but with the way it is pronounced I just think of people calling her a tool. Like...ugh, so and so is such a tool.
