A non-Pad "Pad" fold, to put Flats in Covers & Pockets

(ETA: Please scroll way down to where someone fixed the pics in their post, if you can't view them here).

I realized I keep posting that I pad fold flats in Flip covers or BG pockets, but the fold isn't really a pad fold. It's a variation of the newborn kite fold a user posted a few years ago, I think her name was Erin Martin.

I like this because:
-Thicker in the wet zone, less in back
-Covers all the PUL, none touches skin
-No 2x4 butt
-Very trim overall even with a doubler

Start by folding corners in:

Then fold down some of the top and less of the bottom:

Fold in sides...

(Great now it won't attach images hmm...)

Ok fold in sides...

Tuck in (the back goes all the way into the tabs to hold well and stay trim in the butt).

Oh sorry! GMD smalls, sometimes medium. The nice thing is, it doesn't matter too much. I add a gmd hemp doubler at night.

Thanks for posting this, I was wondering about it when you had mentioned it in another thread.

Thanks for this! I also was wondering about this when you mentioned it in another thread. I tried to figure it out on my own but my version looks nothing like yours. Excited to try it!
