A BF poop question

My son is 4 wks old, and seems to have a lot of wet fart-like poops. He doesn't have the huge amount of poops he had earlier on where he would go a day or two before having a BM. It's just a bunch of smaller poops(like the size of a quarter each time), all day long, at every diaper change. His poop is yellow and seedy and loose. Would that be considered diarrhea, or is that normal? I always supplemented with my other kiddos, so this is all new to me.

Yep, normal - and in some babies, it will go on for a while this way.

Normal! My 4 1/2 month old son poops 12+ times a day still. He is my 4th ebf kiddo and mine all did this until they were on solids (and still several times after that).

My dd is 3 weeks and she has yellow, seedy poop and I feel like it is really watery as well... I am glad to see that it is normal!

Re: A BF poop question

That is normal. Definitely not diarrhea. Both my daughters did the same thing.

Re: A BF poop question

PS (to the OP and other newb moms): "seeds" are the curds from your hindmilk (the fattier stuff); and a greener tinge without seeds indicates an excess of foremilk (the more sugar- and protein-rich). Both colors/textures are in the range of normal and EBF poo is very runny - like yogurt in it's consistency!
