Fisher Price Voyager Deluxe

My MIL is thinking about getting a carseat for her car, and I've heard that this model is made by Britax, and somewhat comparable to the Marathon. I wish I would have known that before I purchased my carseat since the Marathon is over $100 more. Anyone have this carseat? TIA!

Re: Fisher Price Voyager Deluxe

I think you are talking about the Fisher Price Safe Voyage Deluxe. I have one of these and a Marathon. I like it. The only reason I got the Marathon is because I got it on sale for the same price as a Safe Voyage Deluxe. It has worked fine for us. Do you have any specific questions about it? I haven't seen much of a difference between it and the Marathon. I can get great installs with both of them. HTH.

Yes its maybe by Britax. It is being discontinued so snatch it up now.

GREAT alternative to the MA. It does NOT rear face tether, or have lock offs. It also on FFs to only 55 lbs. Its a bare bones MA but works and preforms just as well. Its highly recommended by car seat techs as a main or spare convertible seat.

You can get it for 129 here http://www.specialtybaby.com/fiprsavodeco1.html

We've got two,one for Sophie(4yrs,36 inches,28lbs)one for Taci(1yr,26 inches,16lbs),both girls are plenty comfy in the seats. I like that they are much easier to adjust the harnesses, then our last car seats.

We got ours at BabiesRUs
