Just checking in. DH finally put our basement back to having the whole floor be useable space

It looks a little redneck because we have a section of original carpet, and 2 different remnants covering the opening, but we have a whole basement again

Just wait till he puts the duct tape down to hold the carpet together and I'll get pics. It has been tore up since Sept. so it is a big improvement for us. Now if only they could actually get here to fix the drainage we could finish it for real. DS2 said "Wow" when he saw it and is walking in the section he's never been to before looking at me like he is wondering if he will get into trouble. It is funny.

Back. Got a new raincoat for me. Of course I didnt "need" it but it was cute and obey $40 normally $110. Em got a new raincoat. Steven and ben both got new brimmed hats for the sailboat.

We also headed to Ross. My moms favorite store. They were having a grand opening. Found em dome Tevas for $11 (retail $70).

Got just a few rows done on the waistband. Will work on it more when the kids take their nap.

Yes, you are! Did you get gauge? Are you knitting Gaia organic bulky? I found it very difficult to get gauge, and when I did, it was ridiculously stiff... so I found a good gauge, did the math, and cast on a smaller size, which is knitting up perfectly.

No, really, the yarn arrived at 9am on a FRIDAY which is my day alone with the kids until after I go to bed, so I had the day to cake it and the evening to knit uninterrupted.
